Manish is an IBM executive responsible for defining and executing the strategy for AI Governance across the IBM Data & AI portfolio. AI Governance is extremely critical for ensuring that enterprises derive the full value of AI. He work with client CXOs and help them define and adopt an AI Governance strategy which helps them govern AI models throughout the model lifecycle.
He also have an additional responsibility for leading the architecture of IBM Watson OpenScale. OpenScale helps enterprise build trust and transparency in their AI. He is responsible for giving architecture guidance to teams spread across multiple geographies and work closely with Offering management and customers to identify future growth/focus areas for the product.
In his previous role at IBM Research, He was a researcher working in domains of unstructured information management, data management and autonomic computing applied to databases. His work has lead to several new features, tools being added to various IBM products. He has filed more than 50 patents in fields ranging from trusted AI, data management, policies for autonomic computing, information retrieval etc. He has published more than 25 papers in leading journals and conferences such as IEEE Transactions on Computers, SIGMOD, ICDE, ICAC, ESORICS etc. in areas of data management, policies, access control etc.
